BLAZON:
(Fieldless) Two tridents in saltire argent. (Note: The Warlord’s insignia is generally displayed upon an azure field but any contrasting background is acceptable since the badge is registered as fieldless.)
REGISTRATION:
Badge registered in June of 2018. Generic Identifier, “Warlord of Illiton,” associated with badge in September of 2019.
DESCRIPTION:
The Warlord of Illiton is tasked with organizing the martial forces of the barony for battle and for ceremonial occasions. These martial forces include armored combatants, rapier combatants, archers, thrown weapon enthusiasts and equestrians. The position of Warlord of Illiton may be assigned to the same individual multiple times, according to the wishes of the current baron and baroness of Illiton, but the standard term of office is one year and only one person may hold the title at any point in time. The Warlord is expected to process in with and attend upon Their Excellencies at court. On ceremonial occasions, the Warlord bears a trident. Other duties may be assigned at the whim of the baron and baroness. The Warlord is to be addressed as “Lord Commander.”
