Permission to SURPRISE His Excellency, Baron John of Illiton, with song, story, poem or schtick where-so-ever and when-so-ever the bearer chooses

Proclaim far and wide that today Their Illitonic Excellencies, Baron John and Baroness Maire, award unto Master Midair MacCormaic, Master Alexander de Seton, Master Cerian Cantwr and Master Dahrien Cordell WRITS OF CARTE’ BLANCHE.

Be it known that the bearer of a Writ of Carte’ Blanche is hereby granted permission to SURPRISE His Excellency, Baron John of Illiton, with song, story, poem or schtick where-so-ever and when-so-ever the bearer chooses. This privilege is given to the bearer in recognition of the success of previous entertainments and as a public avowal that Baron John trusts the bearer to judge His current mood and to ascertain the proper time and place for unexpected shenanigans.

The bearer of this writ is cautioned that permission is NOT hereby granted to surprise Her Excellency, Baroness Maire, as all would agree that such impertinence would be BAD.
