Temari, the ancient Japanese art of spherical embroidery.
Instructor: Corasande of Starrhill

A hands on make and take.   Do an image search of Temari ball to see what we mean.   We will provide a pre wrapped ball so you can get to stitching right away.  They used a rather ingenious method to measure and mark the ball, and you won’t believe how simple  measuring a round object really is.

Thread and needles are provided and we will start with a simple pattern.  How to do the more complicated designs will be discussed.    We will demonstrate how to wrap a ball so you can go home and make your own.
